Wild Life cycles Wheel - Wilded Family
Description
Life cycles are all around us. They are part of our natural world and part of every living thing. A life cycle is a series of changes that happens to all living things and every life cycle is the same for each new generation. For example the frog: a frogs life cycle begins in cycle as frog spawn. The frog spawn develops into a tadpole, which grows and grows until it becomes a frog and lay frog spawn of its own. The life cycle then begins again.
Discovering life cycles can be an important way for children to develop their understanding of the world around them and help them understand and deal with big concepts such as life, death and birth. While also building a wonderful foundation for science.
Our beautiful rainbow illustration gentle weaves life cycles through the year as we travel through the seasons. In this illustration we can see sheep, butterfly, sunflower, daffodil, caterpillar, brown bird and swallows journey from egg, seed and bulb, through their life cycles as they grow and reproduce.
